Finding Joe explores the studies of famed mythologist Joseph Campbell (1904-1987) and his continuing influence on our culture. Through interviews with visionaries from a variety of fields and enactments of classic tales, the film navigates the stages of Campbell’s “Hero’s Journey”: the challenges, fears, dragons and battles faced, before returning home a changed person.
