Peter Case

Best known for the time he spent with the Plimsouls (the '80s New Wave group that had a hit with the infectious "A Million Miles Away"), singer-songwriter Peter Case started making solo albums way back in 1986. While he hasn't put anything out recently, he's currently at work on a new disc that he has said will sound more like 2007's Grammy-nominated Let Us Now Praise Sleepy John, an album of sparse acoustic tunes, and less like 2010's garage rock-inspired Wig!. Expect to hear a bit of both styles of music at tonight's show. (Niesel)
