Creative Aging in Music Workshop & 2x4 Songwriter Showcase

Afi Scruggs is the head of the new Creative Aging Department at the Music Settlement, which provides music education and performance opportunities for people 55+. She'll share insights from her first year on the job: what people are looking for when it comes to performing and learning; how internalized stereotypes inhibit creativity; whether people "age" out of music making.
