The back and forth rhythm of the game is steady and consistent, and your next turn is always just seconds away. Battles are scenario-driven with an emphasis on the narrative experience and focused on specific objectives that must be completed in order to achieve victory. Combat is quick and brutal—players compare the attacker’s dice roll with the defender’s defense dice roll. The higher roll wins, and the better the attack hits, the more bonus dice the attacker rolls for damage.
