The Unknown/Zapguns

At one time known as Cleveland’s longest running pop-punk band, The Unknown has recently reunited and will play the Spitfire tonight, marking its first live appearance in six years. “We played our last show in Dec 2006; it was a cd release for our last record, Unpopular. After that, Wayne Roscoe our drummer moved, and we just never played again,” says frontman Ken Blaze. “[We] have been thinking about a show for the last couple years, and we finally just decided to do it basically ’cause we miss it and all three of us are still here in town, plus we ain't getting any younger.” Drummer Noah Smit will take Roscoe’s place behind the drum kit and Blaze promises the band will play tunes from all six of its albums.
