The Toxic Avenger

A hit off Broadway, The Toxic Avenger makes its regional debut tonight at 7 at Cain Park, where it runs through June 26. The musical centers on a corrupt New Jersey mayor who thwarts a man's attempts to clean up the most polluted city in the state by dumping his ass in a vat of radioactive waste water. The man returns to wreak havoc as the Toxic Avenger, a seven-foot mutant with super human strength. Tickets to tonight's preview are $20. (Niesel)
