Stephen Philip Harvey Octet - Vinyl Release Show and Suite Premiere
Saxophonist, composer and arranger Stephen Phillip Harvey debuts his new musical program that blends original jazz with works of Black American literature. Dubbed The Pen is Mightier, it's a new suite of music inspired by authors like Maya Angelou, James Baldwin and Amanda Gorman. The concert begins at 8 p.m. at Blu Jazz in Akron.
