SPOTLIGHT: Christine Mauersberger

Aquascapes, a new body of work by Cleveland artist Christine Mauersberger, reflects the transient nature of Lake Erie through color and pattern. Christine uses a variety of media to create pieces that range from small and intimate to room-sized installations. She has been the recipient of numerous fellowships and grants, including Ohio Arts Council Award of Individual Excellence in 2013 and 2017, a Cuyahoga Arts and Culture Creative Workforce Fellowship. Meet the artist and learn about her work at an open reception on Friday, May 5, 6-9 p.m.
