Space Jam

Retired NBA player Michael Jordan teams up with Bugs Bunny in 1996's Space Jam, a bizarre mix of live action and animation that follows Jordan and Bugs Bunny as they try to defeat the Nerdlucks, a rival team of aliens who steal the talent of real-life basketball players such as Charles Barkley, Shawn Bradley, Patrick Ewing, Larry Johnson and Muggsy Bogues. The film screens tonight at 9:30 and midnight as part of the Cedar Lee Theatre's Late Shift series. It screens again at 7 tomorrow night. Tickets are $6. (Niesel)
