Science Friction

Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained) stars as a computer hacking genius of the future in The Zero Theorem, a new flick from director Terry Gilliam enjoying a one-night engagement tonight at 7:30 at the Cedar Lee. Waltz works for the vaguely Orwellian “Management” (Matt Damon) and is tasked with solving the eponymous zero theorem, which will provide, theoretically, the answers to all life’s questions. Dubbed the most “satisfying” film Gilliam has made in years, this one paints the future as a “candy-colored, paranoid nightmare.” Tickets are $9. (Allard)
