SalonEra Sessions: Songs for Social Justice

Renaissance lute songs, African American Spirituals, and traditional Lebanese melodies become vehicles for storytelling as Michael Walker (countertenor) and Haitham Haidar (tenor) explore themes of identity and representation, struggle and resilience, and community and belonging in this 75 minute concert and conversation. SalonEra Sessions is a new initiative from SalonEra. Audiences will enjoy gorgeous music and fascinating insights from featured guests listen, learn, and enjoy as in a casual setting along with light refreshments. This event will be recorded, edited, and released as a SalonEra episode later in the season.
