Power Up! Student & Youth Leadership Conference

The Social Justice Institute (SJI) at Case Western Reserve University is excited to announce its Spring 2015 Student & Youth Leadership Conference to be held Saturday, April 11th. The full-day conference will feature Opal Tometi, Executive Director of the Black Alliance for Just Immigration (BAJI), and co-founder of #BlackLivesMatter. Ms. Tometi, along with student activist, Rian Brown, Kalamazoo College, will kick-off the conference with their keynote speeches. Following the keynote plenary there will be break-out sessions, dialogue with young activists from Ferguson, Missouri, a Community Action Fair, and a spoken word performance.
