Polish Pride
Slavic Village gets its share of bad press, but the annual Polish Festival at the Shrine Church of St. Stanislaus is still a real treat. The three-day event kicks off today at 5 with a Polish dinner. Jimmy K & Ethnic Jazz will perform from 6:30 until 10:30 p.m. Tomorrow and Sunday, polka bands perform and a Polish mass takes place. Admission is free. (Niesel)
