International Perfume Exhibit Coming to Cleveland

Indulge your senses by enjoying an interpretation of an ancient Roman perfume and viewing ancient Roman perfume bottles. Indigo Perfumery will host the traveling exhibition of ancient Roman perfume bottles, The Mini Museum of Perfume History’s Unguent, Unguentarium and U. The exhibit will make its only stop in Ohio on Thursday, August 13 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. On display will be a Roman ungentarium (bottle) and two ancient lachrymatories (tear catchers) dating to the first century A.D. Two perfumes, one recreating an ancient Roman unguent and a modern day interpretation of the ancient scent will be on hand.
