Free Classic Music Concert in Chagrin Falls

It’s an all-Vivaldi concert today in Chagrin Falls, as the venerable Chagrin Valley Choral Union takes a big, juicy bite out of the Italian baroque composer’s oeuvre. Anchoring the spring concert playlist is the popular Latin mass, Gloria: 12 movements ranging in mood from somber to exuberant, featuring both moving solos and rousing choral segments. You can also give a listen to Vivaldi’s Credo, Et Incarnatus Est, and Sicut Erat in Principio. The chorus — a well-tuned blend of pros and talented amateurs — will be accompanied by the Amethyst String Quartet, and directed by Dr. J. D. Goddard. The concert happens at 4 p.m. at Saint Joan of Arc Church. It’s free.
