Bikes vs. Cars

"Roads are built for buses and trucks — not bikes," says one politician interviewed in Bikes vs. Cars, a new documentary about the hazards that cyclists face while trying to combat motorized vehicles. Global warming comes into the picture as well. In addition to including images of over-crowded freeways, the film includes shots of commuter cyclists trying to weave in and out of traffic. It screens tonight at 7 at the Capitol Theatre. Tickets are $10. (Niesel)
