Anchorman: The Legend Continues is still a few months away—the hotly anticipated sequel won’t be released until December 20—but it’s worth reacquainting yourself with the 2004 original anyway, a comedy starring Will Ferrell as San Diego anchorman Ron Burgundy. Crazy to think that it came out nearly 10 years ago, isn’t it? You’ve probably seen Anchorman, and you probably know that the antics of Burgundy and the gang (Steve Carrell, Paul Rudd, David Koec ner) are as timeless as their 70s suits and hairstyles. Grab a few friends and have a whiskey at Parnell’s before you see this one at midnight at the Cedar Lee. Guys’ night or date night: This is Ferrell in his prime.
