An Evening with Joe Augustine Trio

As the artist-in-residence at the University of Akron’s School of Music, Joe Augustine has had a great opportunity to share the psychological benefits of music with students from all over the world. (His lectures touch on, for instance, “Music as a Business and Anxiety and Performance.”) Even more than that, though, Augustine is a long-tenured Steinway Artist, a master of jazz piano. Tonight, he and his trio light up BLU Jazz, dishing up an array of originals and standards. (Sandy)
