A Year at Gardenview First Friday Event

Three speakers join us as a part of the "A Year at Gardenview" exhibit. Nancy Broadbent will be giving an artist talk. Come learn about her inspiration, her processes and her art practice! Shoko Otsuka Morton, an internationally-shown Ikebana artist, will be demonstrating and discussing Sogetsu Ikebana, a modern form that uses materials on-hand. Director Marla Tooman will be telling us about Gardenview Horticultural Park or its founder, Henry A. Ross. Henry single handedly transformed the swampy property into gardens that fit together like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, becoming one six acre masterwork.
