A Burton Classic

Tonight at 7 at the Cedar Lee Theatre, the Plain Dealer’s longtime film critic Clint O’Connor will host a screening of the 1988 Tim Burton classic Beetlejuice, starring Michael Keaton, this year’s Oscar favorite for his work in Birdman. For those who haven’t seen Beetlejuice, it’s about a recently deceased couple who contract a “bio-exorcist” to get rid of the obnoxious new owners of their former house. Screeing proceeds will benefit the Animal Protective League. Tickets are $7.50. (Allard)
