Wild & Scenic Film Festival

The 14th annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival takes place at 6:30 p.m. today and at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. This year, the event is both in-person and virtual. All registrants (both in-person and virtual) will receive on-demand virtual access for five days after today’s premiere. Today only, raffle items and a cash bar will be offered beginning at 5:30 p.m. A production of the South Yuba River Citizens League, the Wild & Scenic Film Festival is a touring outreach event aimed at raising awareness of some of the biggest threats to human health and the health of the planet. These realities have come into sharp focus during the events of the recent past, giving the films even greater meaning in these uncertain times. The museum will show 12 selections from the South Yuba River Citizens League’s 2021 films, including pieces about farmers and urban beekeepers, Great Lakes conservationists, and a new generation of brave women rangers and scientists. Tickets cost $20, $16 for members.
