While I Breathe, I Hope

A Documentary starting with a peaceful civil rights demonstration on South Carolina's State College campus, turns tragic when 3 black students are killed and 28 others are wounded by State Highway Patrol Officers. On survivor, Activist Cleveland Sellers, was the only person convicted and jailed in the aftermath of what is known as the Orangeburg Massacre. Fifty Years later his son Bakari Sellers continues the fight for equality as he campaigns for change. This film was recently shown at the Cleveland Film Festival.
