Back when Wavves formed in 2008, they were a bunch of kids playing surfy punk rock and having fun. Twenty-five years on, their sound has grown up, especially on their latest album, Hideaway. They headline the Beachland Ballroom tonight with support from Cloud Nothings, local indie rockers who've become a national act, and Ultra Q. Doors are at 7.
