Vita Activa: The Spirit of Hannah Arendt

Vita Activa: The Spirit of Hannah Ardent offers an in-depth look inside the life of German-Jewish philosopher Hannah Ardent, who coined the phrase, “the banality of evil,” while covering the trial of Adolf Eichmann for The New Yorker. She lived a life considered anything but banal. Her life included a love affair with philosopher and Nazi sympathizer Martin Heidegger. The movie screens at 1:30 p.m. today and at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Tickets are $9 for general admission, $7 for CMA members. (Wohler)
