Ukrainian Bandurist Chorus Concert - Sounds of Spring

The Ukrainian Bandurist Chorus, under Artistic Director & Conductor Oleh Mahlay, continues its concert season with the new program “Sounds of Spring". Coupled with the bandura, the 60-stringed instrument of Ukraine, the award-winning ensemble will be introducing several new songs to its already extensive repertoire. The performance will provide good examples of what Ukrainians celebrate during the Springtime: the joyous Easter holiday, the commemoration of the great poet laureate Taras Shevchenko, and the rebirth of nature.
