Turning Japanese

A 10th century Japanese folktale is at the heart of The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, an Oscar-nominated film directed by the owner of the famous Studio Ghibli. The movie chronicles the various ways in which the princess tries to adapt to a very different lifestyle than that of a typical princess. It screens at 1:30 p.m. today at the Cleveland Museum of Art and shows again at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Tickets are $9. (Niesel)
