Trunk Show

TV and radio host Eddie Trunk's new book Eddie Trunk's Essential Hard Rock and Heavy Metal Volume II is a terrific read, though it probably helps if you have an interest in the genre. As Guns N Roses guitarist Slash puts it in the book’s intro, “he knows everything” about hard rock and heavy metal. Organized by artist, the book includes bits of trivia and gossip about acts such as Cinderella, Marilyn Manson and Ted Nugent. Trunk is also the host of VH1 Classic’s That Metal Show and has two weekly radio shows (Eddie Trunk Live and Eddie Trunk Rocks). He reads from the book and signs copies of it from 2 to 4 p.m. at Loganberry Books. (Niesel)
