Trumpet Genesis

Trumpet Genesis, a 9-piece jazz conglomerate led by local hero Josh Rzepca, will play at the Akron Civic Theater tonight at 8. Ohio’s most talented trumpet players have assembled behind a rock-solid rhythm section to bring high-energy arrangements of your favorite jazz songs. This talented group will draw from Dizzy Gillespie, Freddie Hubbard and Stevie Wonder as this cabaret event brings the audience back to decades of jazz nightclubs. Seats are limited. (William Hoffman)
