Traveling the Silk Road Concert & Cultural Festival

Experience spectacular sounds and sights as we celebrate the legendary Silk Road at a special concert and cultural festival. Percussionist Jamey Haddad will join five other internationally renowned musicians and perform music from around the world. The acclaimed musicians will share insights about their unique instruments from Afghanistan, Morocco, China and the Middle East. Families can see Indian classical dancers and a Chinese dragon dance, watch local artisans demonstrate century-old arts such as Chinese calligraphy and papermaking, and make origami crafts. Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Traveling the Silk Road: Ancient Pathway to the Modern World.
