Train of Thought

To tie in with its current exhibit Common Ground: The Music Festivals Experience, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum will screen the documentary Jimi Hendrix: Hear My Train A Comin’ tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Rock Hall’s Foster Theater. The film features previously unseen performance footage and home movies taken by Hendrix and drummer Mitch Mitchell. It also includes photographs, drawings and family letters. It even includes footage from his final performance in Germany in September 1970. The event is free but reservations must be made in advance through the Rock Hall website. (Niesel)
