Towpath Trail Lantern Parade

The Towpath Trail Lantern Parade is a celebration of light, creativity and sustainability welcoming spring to Cleveland. This year, 5 commissioned artists will create oversized lanterns from recycled materials to celebrate the history of Ohio and Ohio & Erie Canal. All are welcome to join the parade! Simply make and bring a lantern -sustainability encouraged! The parade is March 7, 6:30 PM at Sokolowski’s Overlook and includes a 1.6 mile walk on the Towpath Trail. Hosted by Canalway, this event is supported through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.
