Totally Cosmic

Props to the Happy Dog’s Sean Watterson for continuing to create one of the coolest joints in town. Not only are the dogs a regional landmark, the programming (in addition to a regular line-up of live music) is some of the best in the city. It’s like a hipster City Club. Tonight, the monthly Life, the Universe and Hot Dogs series returns with physicist Corbin Covault, who’ll discuss the search for the universe’s highest energy cosmic rays. If you love The Cosmos, you’ll love Covault’s “Catching a Blue Streak” talk. It’s like fun physics class, but with beer! It’s always free and open to the public. The pontificating begins at 7:30 p.m. (Allard)
