To Be Or Not To Be

In the latest edition of Happy Dog University, Happy Dog's monthly liberal arts series in conjunction with Belt Mag, Oberlin Professor Wendy Hyman presents a talk entitled "Hamlet: World's Longest Knock Knock Joke." The presentation will not, we gather, include a stand-up comedy act. If you've seen bands play at the Happy Dog, or been to a reading, or attended trivia night, you know the vibes there are mutable as hell, and a boozy scholarly discussion fits the Detroit-Shoreway bill to a flipping T. Grab a pint, put some peanut butter and jalapenos on your hot dog, and imagine you're in freshman year seminar. The talk is free and open to the public and kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Rest assured that the knock knock jokes will keep coming ALL. NIGHT. LONG. (Allard)
