Set in a hotel on the Mekong River, director Apichatpong Weerasethakul's Mekong Hotel starts slowly with a scene in which a couple of guys sit on the porch of a hotel and play acoustic music. It's not long, however, before the vampires literally come out and start wreaking havoc. (Jeff Niesel)
