The Towpath Marathon

The Towpath Marathon is a fall race that starts in Canal Basin Park in downtown Cleveland and continues along the Towpath Trail. The race includes a 10K, half marathon and a Boston-qualifier certified marathon course. Along the course you’ll see Camp Cleveland, the Towpath Mounds, sweeping views of the Cuyahoga River Valley and the downtown skyline. Virtual races are also available. This and all Towpath Trilogy races benefit the non-profit Canalway Partners. Participation directly supports the development Canal Basin Park and dozens of projects within the Ohio & Erie Canalway National Heritage Area.
