The Sonder Bombs

Sonder Bombs singer-ukulele player Willow Hawks and guitarist Jimmy Lo Fi first met a few years back through a mutual friend. They initially just jammed to see if they might be compatible. They clicked immediately, and Willow taught herself to play ukulele by watching YouTube videos. The local band shifts musical directions with its latest single, “Waste." The moody, sonically dense song finds Hawks effectively distorting her fluttering voice. The band plays tonight at 7 at Mahall's 20 Lanes in Lakewood.
