The Proposal

An American conceptual artist working on a project about celebrated late Mexican modernist architect Luis Barragán runs into a series of roadblocks while trying to gain access to Barragán’s archive, which is located in Switzerland and privately owned. So she takes extreme measures. She goes to far as to make a shocking, "unorthodox proposal." The Proposal documents the story. It screens at 1:45 p.m. today at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
