The Proclaimers

With the foundational mega-hit "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" supporting decades of success, the Proclaimers are still touring heavily and dropping new albums pretty frequently. Last year’s Let’s Hear It For The Dogs treads familiar territory -- catchy chord progressions, passionate vocals, etc. -- though it’s no less fun than the albums that came before it. The standard-bearer is, of course, Sunshine on Leith, which holds up remarkably well after 28 years of buzzing around our stereos. Charlie and Craig Reid deliver excellent versions of their tunes onstage, so do expected a dialed-in, uplifting show tonight. (Sandy)
