The CWRU Dept. of Theater Presents The Moors by Jen Silverman Directed by David Vegh Two spinster sisters live tedious lives in a remote Victorian manor, until the mysterious arrival of a young governess sets them on a dangerous path in this pitch-black comedy. One part Gothic horror mystery, one part feminist treatise, and one part side-splitting satire of the Brontë sisters (Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre) literary milieu, Jen Silverman’s The Moors is a play that defies easy categorization and one that the New York Times called "...the reason we go to theater."
