While they're certainly not as popular as Irish punk acts such as Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly, the Mahones have a comparable pedigree. The Canadian band has been kicking around since 1990, rallying behind passionate singer Finny McConnell, a guy who wears his emotions on his sleeve. The band is currently touring behind A Great Night on the Lash: Live in Italy, an album that shows just how potent the band really is when it plays live. (Niesel)
