The Lower Depths
Toshiro Mifune and Isuzu Yamada star in The Lower Depths, Akira Kurosawa's take on Maxim Gorky's tale of the poor and the dispossessed. As part of a series dubbed Overlooked Kurosawa, the film screens at 6:45 p.m. today and at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Tickets cost $10, or $7 for CMA members and students.
