The term “prostitution” was coined by Rudyard Kipling in 1888; in the ’60s, it became known as the “oldest profession in the world.” But is it really? Greggor Mattson, assistant professor of sociology at Oberlin College, delves into the topic tonight in a talk at Happy Dog University, the monthly lecture series at the popular westside Happy Dog hangout.
