The Draughtsman's Contract
To complement the Painting the Modern Garden exhibit, the Cleveland Museum of Art will screen several films that have something to do with gardening. Today at 1:30 p.m., the museum screens director Peter Greenaway's The Draughtsman's Contract, a period piece about a young artist enlisted to make 12 drawings of a large country estate.
