The Copyrights/Ray Rocket/The Public/Old Souls (in the Locker Room)

With more than a decade under their belts by now, The Copyrights have carved a well earned niche in the country’s pop punk community. They’ve rolled through Cleveland now and then over the past few years, and their shows are always high-energy affairs. Their most recent album, 2014’s Report, is a cohesive trip through catchy and triumphant power chord-laden anthems. If you’re into the scene, then that album is surely a dose of the medicine you crave. “The World is Such a Drag,” “Heart of Glue” -- those songs and more are pretty irresistible. There’s also some pretty interesting experimentation going on in the nooks and crannies of some of these songs. (Check out the weird interlude in “Stuck in the Fall.”) All of that is going to be fun to catch live tonight. (Eric Sandy)
