Tenacious D/The Sights

Singer-guitarists Jack Black and Kyle Gass have kept their novelty act Tenacious D going for over a decade now. And while the band’s studio recordings often don’t do their joke justice, their live shows do. The guys can really banter and they usually bring some clever videotaped skits along for the tour, too. For this show, dubbed the “Rock the Mother Lovin’ Vote with Tenacious D (Old School Acoustic Style)” tour, you can bet the dynamic duo will have a few things to say about the current presidential election. And at least a few of the songs on their latest album, Rize of the Fenix should make their way into the set. We’re hoping they do the original version of “They Fucked Our Asses” rather than the clean version, which they retitled “They Chucked Our Basses.” (Jeff Niesel)
