Tarek Abdallah & Adel Shams El Din

Originally from Alexandria, Egypt, musicians Tarek Abdallah and Adel Shams El-Din have lived in France for many years. However, they did not meet until the spring of 2013 when they began performing together. Fluent in the language of Egyptian classical tradition, the duo evokes the history of the music while extending it with "spirited and contemporary-inspired compositions." The two perform tonight at 7:30 at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Tickets are $33 to $45, $30 to $40 for CMA members. (Niesel)
