Straub-Huillet Double Feature

French painter Paul Cezanne created an influential body of work during his lifetime. Cezanne, who died back in 1906, wanted the senses of "sight" and "touch" to meld in some manner. Directors Jean-Marie Straub and Daniele Huillet chronicle his career in their documentary Cezanne — Conversation with Joachim Gasquet. It shows today at 1:30 p.m. at the Cleveland Museum of Art along with A Visit to the Louvre, another documentary from Strauh and Huillet. Tickets are $9, $7 for CMA members, seniors and students.
