Strange New World

When a Belgian family adopts a South Korean comic book artist, both the family and child experience culture shock. Directors Laurent Boileau and Jung Henin document that experience in Approved for Adoption, a film that uses a mix of live action footage and animation to tell the boy’s story. The film makes its Cleveland premiere tonight at 5:45 and 7:15 at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Tickets are $9. (Niesel)
