Stone Speak - Quarrying the Stone

Attendees will learn about quarries in Italy and the local quarry in Berea, Ohio. Giancarlo Calicchia will present a history of the quarries in Carrara, Italy. Betsy Menzel of the Berea Historical Society will present a history of the Berea, Ohio quarry. After the short program, attendees will have the opportunity to take a personal gallery tour of the exhibit Domare with Giancarlo and Curator Pamela Dorazio Dean.
