Steve Farley: The Music of the '60s

Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach continues its concert series with Canton-based guitarist Steve Farley. Farley will discuss the music of the 1960s- from the age of sock hops and innocence to protests and the Vietnam war. The program will feature music from Bobby Vee to Crosby, Still and Nash and many artists in between. Steve Farley studied under band director Ray Ponzo. While Steve was at Ohio University, he first heard The Allman Brothers Band and fell in love with their unique sound. He played in various bands in the 1970s and 1980s.
